A secluded and exclusive valley near the border of Switzerland, best known to avid skiers, the Aosta Valley cuisine is reknown for being hearty, full of filling starches and rich in dairy and locally hunted meats.

Unlike much of Italy, pasta is not a staple food. Aosta Valley cooking with French, Swiss and Piedmont influence, is based on warming soups, heavy rye bread, polenta, rice, potatoes and gnocchi.

From the 3rd to the 13th of March, Casa Nostra proudly presents its guest chef from the region, Laila Ferrari, who will create a special menu that will give you a taste of Val d’Aosta region.
